At the heart of Stephen Gamble’s work is The Mill—a space where raw material becomes design. Here, custom flooring, intricate millwork, and one-of-a-kind finishes are imagined and brought to life. Beyond heirloom hardwood, The Mill is where unique formulas for color and texture are developed, where ornate details are crafted with precision, and where large-scale projects take shape. More than a workshop, it is a place where vision, craftsmanship, and environment come together in lasting form.

Wide skies, open fields, and animals lend rhythm to the work we do

Surrounding our mill is a wide expanse of land that feels both working and wild. Rolling pastures, shaded groves, and open fields create a rhythm of life that extends beyond the workshop walls. That rhythm is shared with herds of beef cattle and horses, flocks of chickens, loyal dogs, and a cast of rescued animals, from donkeys to strays given a second chance. Together, land and animals shape a daily life rooted in stewardship and care, making our mill more than a facility. It is a home where great craftsmanship grows best in wide open spaces.
